No Baroque works may be auditioned for the Concerto Festival.
Two copies of solo parts must be available for the adjudicators. These copies can be collected after the auditions.
All Entries: College and outside of College - Please make sure the orchestral music is either available in the College Library or easily accessible via the internet or that it can be easily arranged for orchestra. If the orchestral music is not available, it is the responsibility of the student, and/or the lecturer to get the orchestral music or to have the music arranged for the orchestra. Any fees regarding arrangement of music is the students’ responsibility. The orchestral music should reach Hans-Peter Drobisch not later than 16 July.
The auditions are not open to the public. The only people allowed will be the soloist, the accompanist and page-turner if required.
The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
The judges choose works on the merit of the performance, the suitability of the work within a Concerto Festival program, and - to a certain extent - the length of the work. No institution or teacher will be advantaged or disadvantaged in the selection of works and candidates for final compilation of the program.
