Walter-Michael Vollhardt
Michael Vollhardt started his musical career as a cello soloist with performances all over the world. His conducting career was started by founding the Orchestra of the Hamburg Conservatory where he taught cello and chamber music. Soon he was invited as guest conductor from various orchestras not only in Germany but also in Brazil, Nicaragua, India, Guatemala, Nigeria (MUSON Symphony Orchestra) and Italy. He lives in Freiburg, Germany.
Emily Dangwa
Emily Dangwa completed her Undergraduate in Opera studies and Postgraduate in Music performance with Distinction from the University of Cape Town. She performed in Cape Town, Bloemfontein and Dar Es Salaam. In 2018 she sang at the World Music Day and debuted her own work “Confessions of a Woman” at the FNCC in Namibia. She has since opened her own company ED Music Production in Windhoek.
Eslon Hindundu
Eslon Hindundu was born and raised in Windhoek (Namibia) and he studied at the Odeion School of music, University of the Free State, Bloemfontein. Hindundu was a soloist for COTA Youth Choir from the year 2010 up until 2015 under the leadership of Fanie Dorfling that won Gold and Silver Medals at international choir competitions. Hindundu started composing/arranging choral music in 2015. His compositions have been performed internationally.
Namibian National Symphony Orchestra NNSO
The musicians of the NNSO are mostly amateurs that come together for several projects per year. Yearly concerts are the Baroque Festival in April and the Concerto Festival in August giving music students a platform to perform with an orchestra. Since 2018 the NNSO has become an independent entity and a board of directors was established. Everybody is welcome to become a supporting member of the NNSO to enable further orchestra productions.
